That tutorial is amazing, I'm submitting one I've made as we speak actually :D
Though I think it didn't get as good as this! :)

I really love the tutorial, but most of the time I can't seem to get the separation bands even though I follow it exactly.

I still haven't figured out what I'm doing wrong. I'll be interested in seeing what you submit. :)

It's great, but I agree. I had the exact same problem. And I don't know why it gets wrong all the time as I follow it exactly. The only thing I can think of is that I didn't have splits, but splits3D. But I'm not sure if that would make such a difference.

If you're interested here's how it turned out :) [link]

It turned out nicely. I have only gotten the separation lines once, and I couldn't figure out what I did differently, and I'm using the regular splits plugin. I also figured out that for some reason params are not being saved, so I couldn't go back and have a second look. I have a feeling it has to do with the Xaos numbers. I really haven't figured out how those work yet.

thank you :)
I've tried five or six times just today trying to get the exact results, but never succeeded.
I've never really gotten a hang of the xaos, as I don't understand what it does or what can be done with it. I still have a lot to learn ^^;

I love the colors and how it looks lit from behind. Absolutely stunning.
