News

Has anyone ever had this happen?  I uploaded a deviation Thursday night and it got a handful of views and one comment, but then it disappeared.  It never appeared on my profile page or in my gallery.  The only way I could reach it was to click on the link from the comment. What I finally decided to do was delete it and reload it.  DA does the screwiest things sometimes.

In other news, it's almost midterm and I'm starting to catch up on my work.  Thanks so much to all my friends for the support.  I have a ton of deviations in my watch I need to get to, which I hope to do today.  However, I have a major deadline on a project I was asked to do, so I may disappear again.  I'll be so glad when this semester is over.  I still haven't made any headway in getting my biology classes back, but at least the college is not ready to hand me my walking papers.  With the economy as messed up as it is, I'm not sure what I would do if they changed their minds.

At least one good thing is happening.  My wayward daughter seems to be getting her act together.  She's doing well in college, and has decided to transfer to a school closer to home.  She also has started to call just to talk.  She used to contact us only when she was in trouble.  It's nice to think I might actually see my daughter emerge from this stranger that has occupied her body for the last six years.

Finally getting up a new feature. I recently offered up a little contest for the first person to get a screen shot of my 10,000th page view. One person knew she turned it and another sent me a screen capture so I promised to feature them both.
